When speaking to Axios reporters, more than a dozen House Democrats expressed concern about the potential for post-election violence.
Democratic Representative Delia Ramirez said she fears violence regardless of the outcome of the presidential election:
“If Trump wins, he and his violent supporters will be emboldened. And if he loses, I fear they will be worse than they were four years ago.”
While most members’ fears focused on January 6, some also expressed concern about the days following November 5.
